And what you need to understand is your metabolism.
The metabolism is the process your body uses to transform food into energy. Thus, it needs food to create muscles, but it also needs some to give you some fuel : it burns calories.
What experts tell everyone is to speed up your metabolism so you will burn more fat. That’s true, but they also give the wrong methods to achieve this. We talked about abs specific exercises, now let’s talk about cardio.

Shorter but much more challenging for your body, so it will have more work as a recovery process, and thus burns more fat (needs more energy).
